Remove the seeds from the Medjool dates and add all ingredients (except for the finely crushed nuts and chocolate) to a blender or food processor. Mix until everything is well combined.
- If your mixture feels too dry to roll, add 1–2 teaspoons of warm water or a little extra honey to help it bind. - You can substitute hazelnuts with almonds, walnuts, or cashews if desired. - Use your favourite flavoured or unflavoured protein powder — chocolate or vanilla work especially well. - Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days. - Use dark chocolate (70%+) for a richer flavour and lower sugar content.
